Ah, yeah, that makes sense. Good natural makeup is something people shouldn't be able to tell you're wearing, but that takes a good deal of practice to get right. Golly, you're tall, okay head tilting won't work. Only other thing I can think of would be to try a new hairstyle, or maybe a more striking glasses frame? If you make a part of your face that you like be the focal point that's what people will see.

For whatever reason those glasses with black rims seem to be considered stylish by many people....so much so people wear fake ones without prescription lenses just to look 'cool'....so IDK maybe that is the frame to go for.

Also keep in mind depending on the sort of women you'd be attracted to can somewhat determine what to do to be more appealing. I mean I could be wrong but seems you're looking for someone fairly normal in which case most of the advice here is good for instance its not so much what you wear but that its clean and fits and isn't too extreme. Seeming rather confident and that you have your sh*t together can be helpful to attract a lot of females.

Being a metalhead though, I really don't relate a whole lot to your typical female....or what they find attractive. I mean half the guys I'd find attractive would likely get an 'eww' response from typical women my age. Just don't hear a lot of girls saying how a guy in a t-shirt with sleeves cut off, ripped jeans and perhaps a viking looking beard is 'sexy' yet I have found guys who look like that attractive.

I have worked out in the past, and I've been thinking about starting up again. Quite honestly, my body could stand to benefit from some toning up, and I'd imagine getting back into gym would help my confidence at least a little.

Height-wise, I'm about 5'11, and I find it pretty rare that I'd meet a girl who is taller than me, so I don't think my height is/will be an issue.

Hypnosis is certainly something I'm open to, especially if I can get it done with recordings or what have you. I'm not exactly sure how I would search for one to strengthen my demeanour, but if I could find what I needed, I'd definitely give it a go.

If you want to attract mature women, you should strive to look manly. That means lifting weights and getting an athletic build. I don't mean super massive, but more of the action hero look. Like Robert Downey Junior in Iron Man. Now, honestly if you get skinny and dress like a hipster, you'll probably get more attention from girls, but they will more likely be younger and immature. You have to find your target audience so to speak. I do better with women in their late 20s to late 30s. I'd actually advice you to talk to women that are 25 years and older, preferably 28 and older. A lot of girls go through a bad boy stage and that dwindles down usually when they are in their late 20s. This isn't the case for everyone of course, however I've seen it all too often.

I'm not sure how viable it is for me to aim for women that old, considering I've only just turned 19.

I'm actually finalising getting contact lenses at the moment, so there's that.

Yeah, I'm a bit of a metalhead myself, but that's only reflected vaguely in my style (I tend to wear darker colours). I do tend to prefer more 'normal' girls though. Ripped jeans, tattoos and piercings aren't my thing.

Go for it bro! Absolutely nothing has helped my confidence more then weight lifting, nothing. It's fun too, good way to push through some heavy feelings too...like anger.

Take my other advice then and if that's the case, go for Sam and Dean Winchester look over the others.

A few options are available.
Depending on where you live or reside or currently are & how you search for them of course.

I think you're already a good-looking guy. I'm not a fan of ratings out of 10 as obviously different people would give different ratings, therefore one cannot inherently be attractive or unattractive, these are only perceptions (beauty is in the eye of the beholder etc).
But for what it's worth, I think you're cute! Not in a fluffy kitten kind of way, but in a handsome kind of way (:
Just thought I'd share!

Also, things which allow individuality but are also commonly found attractive:
• Being confident in the things you love about yourself
• Being accepting of your own appearance and personality
• Beards ;) (I personally love facial hair on men)
• A 'warm' smile

it depends on what you wish to find you attractive.
if, for example, you had a perversion which entailed erotic ideas about blowflies, then you could paint yourself over with cat food jelly and stand in the sun for an hour and soon you would attract a whole bevy of them.

but women are not quite as easily attracted by such a simple gesture as blowflies are, so one wonders who is the better friend to have? is it the easier one to attract, or the most choosy?

Thanks everyone for your replies. You've all been very helpful. I have a plan now. I'm going to start going back the gym, lose some weight and tone up, as well as look into ways to clear my skin up (I have a little bit of acne and redness I wouldn't mind getting rid of). After getting to a favourable weight, I'll examine my wardrobe, and buy myself some good clothes. I'm also going to look into getting braces too, as my front teeth in particular are fairly crooked from the rest, and that's another thing I'd like to fix. After all of these upgrades, if I still feel as though I come off as awkward in interaction, I'll look into hypnosis. Hopefully the execution of this plan will help me to feel better about myself, and exude a higher level of confidence. I think it will. Thanks for all your help, WP community.
