Usually all standards on paper go out the window when you click with someone.

You're right, I'm 167, he was around 157. I secretly passed by him to measure how tall he is.

You mean you carry a measuring stick around with you?

I have been talking with a girl on okcupid for a while, at a certain point she asked me of my height, turned out I am shorter than her by 6 cm. When I asked her if that would be a problem she said "I dunno, never dated a shorter guy before, when I see you in front I ll decide if I have a problem with that " - great...as if anxiety from dating itself isn't enough.

Do you have dwarfism? How much is that in metric?

Brits and their weird measures....

Have you ever seen a 2 foot tall and 5 foot wide dwarf?

I'd look like a seesaw.

I'm not a mathematician either.

Would you date a British dwarf?

My ex-girlfriend was a bit on the heavy side. On the topic of women dating shorter guys, she always told me she wouldn't be with a guy who was shorter. She's 5' 8". Luckily, I am three inches taller.

Perhaps that's " what I'd have to settle for " or , more nicely , " my own kind that I should go for " ?
After all , Danny DeVito didn't exactly marry a WNBA player . That TV show " Mike & Molly "... :P

Since I'm 6'1" with a large frame, being overweight for my height is quite a lot different than say, a female that's 5'3" and heavier than me.

I'd still date her, of course, but I'd be worried about her being so heavy but so short (health reasons).

I dunno I'd be open to dating someone who is overweight(bmi), but I'd definitely not date someone who is obese(bmi). That's just asking for health complications. I don't want to be with someone that I'll long outlive. I'm also a pretty active person, I run a lot and want to do a lot of cross country hiking when I get older and they couldn't do that with me at all. I only weigh 140lbs and am basically 6ft so I could foresee the possibility of dating someone who is my same height or taller and they'd most likely weigh more. That wouldn't bother me.

Didn't you get together with your ex?

Anyway, about the thread, it depends on the height.

I'm a skinny guy. Really just a toothpick. So any woman close to my height would be heavier than me, in all likelihood.

I'm 6'2" (188 cm) so a woman 5'10" (178 cm) might outweigh me, unless she was as thin as a rail too.

If I had to guess, most if not all the girls I've dated were a few pounds heavier than me. I'm also a 120lb heath nut so I suppose said girls finding my skinniness cute factors in. I live in a really active town (nay, state :D) and the one girl who confided in me she felt out of shape is rocking a Bianchi carbon road bike. Healthy curves = strong girl, even if she's still figuring that one out herself.

idk how one tells. I don't go around wieghing people.

but I'm 6'4ish and 250 pounds. <i don't know how to say anything about women without being accused of generalizing>
so i think their weight if they were weighed more would harm them more then on me.
