Don't act like you know everyone else's lives, Cockroach96. The fact that you think we're "overly preoccupied" with our sexuality is pretty offensive; you're acting like you're better than those who identify as bisexual. I have felt attraction toward both males and females for as long as I can remember. I wasn't able to pin down what my sexuality was until I was in high school, because I didn't know if it was normal for everyone to experience attractions to people of either sex to a degree. I have never had a boyfriend or a girlfriend, but I would love to have either one. Please don't show such baffling ignorance again.

No.
I don't judge people based on their sexuality and I don't think I'm better than LGBT people.

Okay, but the way you've worded your post makes it seem condescending. As Aspies, I know that sometimes we have trouble seeing that, so I'm just bringing it to your attention.

It seems to be the new trend for today's kids I suppose.

Because they might be bisexual. Duh.

It's incredibly patronizing to tell other people you think THEIR thoughts on THEIR OWN DAMN SEXUALITY - that you, an outsider, do not, cannot, know anything about - are wrong.

I thought you were over 20 if I recall right what you said about your age.

What about those who think they are heterosexual, homosexual or asexual?

I don't think every teen who thinks they could be bi-sexual is wrong on that point, it does exist so it would make sense that people would think about it at the ages they typically become more aware of sexuality.

It's also the second most common sexual orientation amongst humans

Also not sure having an anxiety disorder would be any kind of evidence someone isn't actually bisexual.

Though it could be the case that biphobia and bi-erasure would make bi-sexual people (of any age) especially anxious.

Also its a logical fallacy to assume because you thought you were bisexual as a teen and came to figure you're actually straight, that any other teen who suspects they could be bisexual will also turn out to be straight, everyone is not you.

Probably far more likely for bisexuals to mistakenly assume they are straight. Especially when they are young...

When people have an anxiety disorder or OCD about their sexuality they usually make it clear they don't want to be that sexuality. They don't usually label themselves as their "false sexuality." I've had OCD about my sexuality, but I usually obsessed about being bi. I originally felt like I was gay, but anxiety about people doubting my sexuality made me feel like I was bi.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to anything Cockroach is posting right now. They are being something of a troll right now. Just the other day they posted that all people with Down's should be euthanized, which is a very hypocritical thing for an aspie to say, and then went on about "freedom of expression", which is basically what anyone says after they've just been a huge jerk.

If I had a nickel for every time someone used that argument on a bloody private site.
