Fiona Apple has been one of my sanity props for some time now.
Do you know Tindersticks? The National were pitched to me with 'here, you like Tindersticks. You'll like this too', and they were right. I wonder if it works the other way.
Anyway, I don't know if this counts as a love song, but it has meaning as a love song to me.

^ How are the Smiths, what's their strongest works? I used to have a friend that liked them. I listened to the Meat is Murder album, but that was a while ago.
