#esperanto (perhaps it begins with two hashes; I can't recall) in freenode (actually, the whole network is pretty interesting for all kinds of geeky pursuits). I've read something about some Esperanto presence in Duolingo and Lang8, but haven't checked it out yet.

I agree, but I think it's way too late for that. I like science in general, because it's so refreshing to seek the truth, instead of looking for clever new ways to conceal it, even from yourself, like most human interaction seems to be about
