Love is just a myth we invented to make ourselves feel that we aren't alone.

That's basically what it comes down to now. True true.

Maybe to you who have got lucky.
To me is is just a f'ing fallacy and a wasted emotion.
It is just an illusion and causes more trouble than it could ever be worth. I curse being human. I will damn well do whatever I can to ensure I do not feel for anyone again. I have had it with my stupid stupid feelings.

Lucky? No. I'm obsessing about some
girl that I'm never going to have the
guts to reach for. But I've never given
up on love. Even if it's unrequited, it
adds the only little purpose that I
have in my life.

And it doesn't have to be for
a human. It doesn't have to
be romantic. It can be for an
ideal. Without love, we are
nothing.

Without love, there is no pain and no confusion.
With love, you end up in knots and hurt. Especially when it is always unrequited. I would rather not love at all.

How do you know the person you love doesn't love you back?

I agree with everything
but the conclusion. Pain
is part of living. You have
to learn to give in to it,
rather than trying to
fight it away, with
other pains.

yes... you feel this way day after day after day afeter day until it finally dawns on you that MAYBE you're better off... and once that foot's in the door... all the funny emotions sneak out and you may just see that some semblance of love is still there... just not like you had thought

I love love, it’s a beautiful emotion; it transcends fear, guilt, regret; anger, hate and jealousy; all of them: the love where your life is nought to the one whom you love.

Love has beaten my near malignant OCD...that feat is near to impossible.

Surely you can cut the chase by comparing flower preferences? Generally speaking (correct me if I’m wrong) flowers usually have a set amount of petals per species or at least have some sort of prevalence of petals. Let’s hope you don’t pick a flower with a degenerative petal illness. Come to think about it petals fall off anyway. Some flowers are just a mess frankly. So if you pick a flower like so your partner is similarity unsure?

the number of petals is always a fibbonaci number.

He loves you.

(but he may be confusing love with lust)

Could she be confusing lack of lust for lack of love??? I KNOW she loves me. She just can't see us together.. but she loves me more than the guys she's "in love with".. confused.. maybe I wait more...

A lot of people who are sad and depressed (i.e., me) are not in love, have never had it, or have never had good experiences with it. A lot of people who are truly happy and function well are madly in love. You rarely see someone madly in love and is in a well functioning relationship commit suicide. I think that this tells us something about love. Of course I have no statistics on this, but it seems like a reasonable statement.

Then, what is that feeling called "alone"?
