^ i think it'll come. it took eight months after i started dating my NT before we used the usual "labels". it kind of shocked me the first time it came out of her mouth. it was in a vintage candy and soda shop, i remember

I hope it does. Time will tell. But there are actual reasons we're not using them for now. I'd be ok with using them, but he's not there yet for personal reasons which I respect, so, we'll take things day by day. If and when there comes a point in time when he's comfortable with calling one another "boyfriend," then that's when we'll do that. Until then, I'm ok with how things are - as it's veeeeerrrrry much the same just w/o the labels yet.. and I don't need a label to treat him with respect. Things are good for now and hopefully better in the future.
