I think what motivated him was because I stoped to answer for a bit (I just went to do something else, it wasn't on purpose) and I feel he wanted to gain my attention again... but why this way???

i did it. but it was the second time (with different guys) and i don't even talk a lot with guys. so it's quite weird. the other time i wasn't even talking with the guy, we had talked a few days before and then he sent me a message and i felt even happy for it, then i went to check and... dick picture. i felt really frustrated because he seemed nice.

There's an animal instinct behind this and maybe some people lose reason while horny, do you know why the human dick is boneless?

There's a theory that may be related to that.

They are disrespectful creeps who either don't understand how to be decent humans or who don't care about being decent humans.

From dogs to dick pics is just wrong, I think you're right to find it aggressive.

Generally I think people send nude pics in the hope they'll be reciprocated. Probably an element of getting of to it, too. You've seen his dick now and you had no choice in the matter.

Report and block, as Boo says.

I dont know. Women do it too though. Though mostly their boobs. Maybe some are spam bots following a program to at a certain point send penis pic. That or maybe it's the same bunch of guys. I can't believe majority of guys are out sending dick pics.

It's something that every woman has to deal with on literally every dating site which allows it, based on what I've read in long discussions of the topic. No credible theories beyond impulsive behavior, though.

Simple: they think that'll turn the woman on and make her want to sleep with them. Which is almost never the case.

Women also do it, not only men. Should I tell you the story about how I accepted a contact request from a stranger on Skype after which she offered to striptease for me? (Don't worry, it never happened because I blocked her after that, but it happens).

This is what my guy friends have told me is the reason. It is bizarre to me, I have no idea why any guys would think this. Only extremely rarely (if ever) would it produce the desired result and most likely it will produce an undesired result.

Some people get off on being seen and violating someone in that way, I can't imagine it ever works just like catcalling(which seems pretty innocuous in comparison) but maybe it does or why else would it persist to such a degree?

Now women doing this is another story...  :P

It doesn't have anything to do with actual results. It's an aberration of the male psyche. Apparently psychologists think this is a case of misplaced reciprocal thinking. They reason that because heterosexual men would like to see a woman's private parts, some of these men make the erroneous conclusion that women would like to see their private parts. However, many men who have engaged in this behavior indicate that they were looking for validation.

Its to do with our primate existence. Other members of the primate family flash the females there penis's in hope they can get laid so to speak. It appears a lot of our society have yet to catch up with how inappropriate it is.

Some men just think with the wrong head. And unfortunately, chances are they'll never learn to think with the other one.

A whole body naked picture wouldn't be that bad, but close up dick pics?! What the hell am I supposed to reply with? "Nice one?" "Kinda small?" "What a monster?"
I mean, when you two have seen each other in the nude and like this kind of visual stimulation - why not, but... just after talking about something neutral on a FB messenger like nuclear fusion?! (happened to me haha).

I don't find it offensive, but if someone does that they just straight away lose all their chances of using what they've shown on me :D Also, I would never reciprocate with a similar picture, ever!
I occasionally moderate pics for a gay dating site :D so I've seen it all...
Some men really see it as an advertisement, basically showing "the goods". Maybe they think the girl's/boy's reaction would be like "hell yeah, I want it in me!"... but it's unlikely to have that effect, I think... or maybe I'm old-fashioned. I don't know how it looks like in gay community (gay men), maybe they find pics like that extremely sexy and stimulating?
