Sex should be taken seriously and it should not be messed around with. You should only have it when you are mature enough and ready with the person you love. You shouldn't just have it with random people and not use protection. Sex leads to unwanted pregnancies and STDs if you are not careful. I think all of this sex constantly in our face is a bit too much. Not everyone is hetero and desires the same thing. Sex can ruin your life if you aren't careful. I don't understand what our culture's obsession with sex is. There is more to life than sex and sex should not be treated as a sport or a game. It should be taken seriously.

I disagree that sex should be taken seriously and not treated as a sport or a game. I do think sexual health, sexual safety, and consent are serious and definitely should be taken seriously, but sex is fun and feels good. It's a personal choice if you want to treat it as sacred with only a partner you love or if you want to treat it as sport and detach sex from love feelings for a partner. The choice is individual and there is no right or wrong in my opinion. Your body, your rules. My body, my rules. In the end, consent, safety, and negotiating what both partners want is what matters the most.

Mental Hospitals make an even bigger deal about it.

It's a toxic culture that we can't escape.

The businesses involved can make a profit from ads featuring sexy looking women (both realistic and non-realistic looking), porn, strip clubs, anything sex related. They don't care what consequences it has on anyone. All they really care about is the money.

I honestly hate that society is putting these standards for women to have the "perfect body." It puts all this pressure on them that they have to keep thinking that they should look like them, when a lot of them are photoshopped, and not to mention feeling that they have to have this kind of body for men, which could make them depressed and a bunch of other negative effects on them. Thinking about this always makes me feel sympathy for them, and it makes me wish that society wouldn't focus on sex-related stuff so much.

I don't mind people using sex to sell products, or occasionally making sex jokes in comedies. But, what really makes me furious is how most sitcoms nowadays portray all men as these sex-craved idiots constantly talking about their penises. Every sitcom nowadays seems like it was written by 13 year old boys, and man-hating feminists.
