Well it is right to them, however, that doesn't make it a fact and the opinion can be based on pure ignorance of the facts. There are some nice sayings about opinions.

Sometimes there are more important things than being right, particularly in a relationship.

I understand not wanting to fight all the time, but if you have to resign yourself to being wrong just so you don't hurt your significant other's feelings, is it really a healthy relationship?

Yes.

There are more important things than being right. Listening. Accepting. Appreciating differences.

This from someone who was greatly committed to the critical importance of being right.

it's more important to be loving than right all the time. learn to say "thank you for your opinion."

If you care more about being right than mediating differences of opinion and perspective with a significant other to reach mutually beneficial resolutions, don't get a partner.

Sometimes things are best left unsaid. If you care more about someone's feelings than always correcting them, causing unnecessary conflict, would that not result in a healthier relationship? If it is important then by all means, it is important to express yourself as well. If it is of no consequence, why not, be considerate of others?

Lies, superstition, and idiocy shouldn't be tolerated under any circumstance. This is a more important perrogative than reproduction or courtesy.

Backwards beliefs had to be tolerated in the past but now there is not need to entertain an idiot due to violence being heavily restricted.

AAAAnd there's the obligatory "let's make this about religion/politics" post. Now that that's done with, let's all shave our neckbeards and drop the subject.

Can I keep mine? I have grown quite attached to it.

There's a lot of things I'd like to tell you about that picture, but I'm forbidden from saying so due to moderation. I'll just report you as requested.

You should not take insults to heart. I take compliments with a pinch of salt when they are biased or people are just being nice. I do not worry about insults either, I shrug it off as just their opinion. Criticism/insults can be used as inspiration to work harder and fight for what you want in life. Why not try and turn a negative into a positive? It is satisfying achieving something and proving others wrong when they said you could not do it.
