I agree. The only people I ever felt a strong connection to were my girlfriends. It's hard for me to get close to anyone else including family. That's one of the major reasons I HATED being single & desperately wanted a romantic relationship, so I could feel really close & connect with someone. I won't feel close or connect outside of a romantic relationship.
