Since 2006. It started there and became stronger in 2007 when I finally got back into anime.

I actually like the first song! Although Mark I sympathize with now about not being nerdy enough to fully fit in with the nerds but too nerdy to fit in with the jocks :P

I used to enjoy it but my tastes changed. I won’t knock you for liking it, though.

Probably one of the few things nerds and jocks can both like are video games but the former are willing to try different genres while jocks tend to stick to “bro games”.[/quote]

I'm very much a bro gamer type as I prefer games like Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and sports games :P In fact I most closely associate that first song with the video game UFC Undisputed 2009.

I tried playing a Grand Theft Auto game; I lost interest in it but I don’t quite remember why. I’ve never played Red Dead Redemption and sports games just never interested me.
I don’t really follow any trends in gaming.

I've played Pokemon Stadium on the N64 and liked the Indigo League anime series and Hamtaro. I actually used to have these little fingernail-sized Pokemon action figures play hockey hockey on an air hockey table and wrestle in a handheld wrestling ring playset WCW sold

I did not know there was one until someone at work brought it up to me. I haven’t played a Pokémon game since Stadium and that’s partly because peer pressure about the franchise being “kiddie” made me stop liking it for many years. I don’t have that issue these days unless something really is designed for kids like Paw Patrol but I am so far behind in regards to the franchise that I don’t have the motivation to go back into it. I also have other video game interests but they usually aren’t shared by others around me. Could I play Pokémon and possibly make inroads to more socialization? Maybe but how come others don’t take the chance with games like Guilty Gear or Disgaea?

It is your decision and your decision alone, Brother Marknis if you want to take an opportunity to try. If it doesn't work for you, then do something similar.
