My hope is for all people here that are lonely, alone, or needing a shoulder to cross paths with someone that values your friendship. Everyone here is very special in many different ways.

Me either. But I've accepted that. And who knows? I might prove myself wrong. But if not, that's ok. I'm content to live in my head and have imaginary relationships with fictional characters  . Ah, the magic of antidepressants :D :D

I'm not delusional, I do know the difference between fantasy and reality. I just create stories/fantasies in my head as a way to cope. Because I've been hurt so many times, I'm very very leery of romantic relationships. For the most part, I feel they cause nothing but misery in the end, as has always been the case for me. And in any case, it would take someone with the patience of a saint to deal with my insanity :( :P

Similar here :P Except the fictional relationships I create are mainly with female celebrities I've met in real life and had positive interactions with 8)

Love is real. He even had that halo/glow thing when I looked at him (only on our 3rd time seeing each other, for a minute or so) - not a myth!

PS I am not a romantic. But you have to trust the evidence.
