People are aging at quite different speed. But why aren't you looking for love instead for age? If a woman has a problem with your age she'll reject you immediately either. There was once a 17 year old who crushed on me at an age of 48. She teached me that the eyes of a girl can be incredibly talkative. She was pretty and very self-confident towards me but no option at this time. But even if we had something it would have been our own decision only to become a couple. Nobody on has the right to tell others which people they have to love or not to love. Am I wrong? But what's even up with that people have to be specific age? It seems to be related to a special defective mindset of people who are very calculating and heartless and don't care feelings but care only how others have to be for being their own or other peoples partners instead.

This would have been questionable in the states, only because the age of consent is 18. Anyone younger than 18 is a minor.

That said, I am assuming that 17 is considered a consensual adult in Germany.

Just make sure your crush is of the age of consent where ever you are, and all is well

As long as I'm not just her teacher then it's not a crime here. Below 16 it's a crime with the ones who are to much kids for knowing what's up with it and below 14 forbidden.

That would be bigotry, and the penalty for bigotry is said to be two mothers in law.

According to the "half your age +7" rule, you're fine if you're 22 or under (or 23 for dating someone who's 18.5). After that, the older you are, the more unusual it is. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it though. I'm almost 24, and I'd be open to dating an 18 year-old if there was some compatibility there.

I tried when I was thirty. She called me “ one of the grown up people” lol She felt bad when she realized I wasn’t NT. I also noticed I tend to make women feel bad and regret going on a date with me. She wanted me to take he virginity, but I knew she’d regret it probably once she realized I was AS, so I didn’t really do it.

When does it become "weird" not when is it legal or socially acceptable.

Since there are no 18 year old girls on the news thread I have taken my mind back to when I was 18 and I know from conversations with NT girls had that even guys a couple of years older was getting to be considered "old"

The fact is men in their 20s were considered boring as they had a job/responsibilities and their were generational differences in terms of interests/music/fashion etc.

An 18 year old in their final year of school was considered cool if she knew older men in their 20s but at that age they find older men boring and it raises eyebrows because of other reasons and in any case older men find they are hanging around with a person with a mind of a child.

When I was 19, I would have virtually killed to have a 38-year-old as a girlfriend.

(Please don’t take “virtually killed” too literally).

As others have stated, it depends on the individual 18-year-old and the individual older person.
