I can't make the connection. Why did you break it off? Because she wasn't the first girl you laid?

Yeah all the more reason....I've driven through rural towns in Victoria with a population of 50 here in Australia and the local shops hire the prettiest girl in the town because its good for business and brings local farmers and farm workers. Many fellows will drive a hundred km to buy milk if there is a pretty girl who smiles at them.

No , she was my first. And I thought there was something wrong with marrying the first girl you laid due to Ferris saying it was a bad idea for Cameron. :jester:

Aurora: That’s what I’ve been thinking; that as much as I don’t want to come off as creepy, I know that what I am thinking of doing works on some girls. A couple years ago however, there was a girl whom I had found on Snapchat and added her and she was right in front of me when I did that. She said my first and last name but nothing else happened then. The next day I asked her “y’know that(my name)guy that added you yesterday?“ She just laughed and walked away. Let’s just say that she humiliated me and called me names for several other people to hear. Even if something like that happens again, I don’t think I’ll have anything to regret.

RightGalaxy: she only works evening shifts as far as I’m aware. And I did think about asking her on a date but my mom said that I should just give my number and nothing else because that’ll be enough for her to get the message. And I want to give her a note because there’s usually another cashier there when she’s there and I don’t want to say anything out loud if that’s the case.

Kraftie: I know her first name bc of her name tag. I’ve tried to search for people with that name on Facebook but I haven’t found an account that matches her description.

Probably too common a name.....

If her name was Hyacinth, you’d probably stand a better chance.

Not exactly. There’s a few other gas stations and fast food places in the area.

That's good. Makes the point of awkwardness not a big deal.

Update: I just stopped by the gas station on my way home from work and she was there. I had a little slip of paper with just my name and number. The interaction with her went great and she pointed out that I had cut my hair. I bought a couple of things, handed her the note and left.

Annnnnd, we wait..................

Ooo awesome, very courageous. My (probably obvious) words of wisdom now would be to put it out of your mind and if she calls, great, and if not it wasn't meant to be.

Of course I'm sure we're all going to be hoping for an update to know if this method worked :P

Girls with flower names are generally nice....Heather, Hyacinth, Rose, Petunia, Daisy (probably should start a thread on girls names with flowers)

Depending on her scheduled work day, she may get to have a 1/2 hour or hour lunch. Ask her this and then offer to take her to lunch. After lunch, ask her to give you a call if you still like her. Don't just give her a slip of paper with your number on it...it's cheesy (cheap).

That is what I thought.
Even a little creepy.
But other women here don't seem to have a problem with it. <shrug>

Oops!
Too late. ;)

This will be interesting. 8)
