Why does everyone keep imagining it was a woman who made the comment? OP literally says "he" in his opening post.
Likely because it seems more like something a woman would say.  I base this on countless similar experiences, all involving women.  It could also be a typo or an intermittent 's' key.

Whether it is a man or a woman who said it, it is not a nice thing to say, even if it may be true.

Maybe if I lost some weight I might look handsome again? Or it could just be as simple as getting a hair transplant perhaps. Prince William was a handsome guy when he was younger but he went bald and that kind of ruined his looks.

Dude, how many times do you have to be told . . .

Oh, never mind.  Try wearing a wig first before getting your scalp all chopped up.

That guy was just being an idiot. He sounds like a barfly sort of guy who is insecure in himself.

I bet you look okay. 32 years old is not exactly old.

I'm 61, and I look a little old-----but not a lot old.

5 foot 7 1/2 and 168 lbs. isn't that bad. I'm 5 foot 4 3/4, weigh about 160 pounds, and don't look too bad.
