After my divorce the only men I’ve went out with have been younger.
How much younger?
One around fifteen years younger. We talked online for a year or so before meeting, he lived to far away for it to work long term.We parted as friends. I’m not really into the dating scene anymore. It’s too complicated for me, I live in a remote area and the eligible decent men are few and far between.

That sounds fine to me. You are both well into adulthood. If you were say, 34 and he was 17, that would be dodgy, but your current ages aren't a problem.
If he is genuine and not a scammer, why not just go for it? Life is short, then you die. Why not have some fun in between?

There's 17 years age difference between me and my favourite fwb/crush. Obviously I see no problem with this. We're all adults and there are no rules that you Must date someone close to your age. If you're attracted to each other and get along well, then maybe it'll work out.. so, let it happen.

Why do you make it out that it's a bad thing? There is nothing wrong with it and you never know he might like you for you. So why not break out of your comfort zone, which is what every fiber in your body is telling you not to do, and see what happens. What is the worse thing that can happen?
I like your name. Maybe you are right. But I’m 52 & he is 35. We are talking on the dating site, he seems to like me.
Be careful Kitty, there are a lot of fake profiles, scammers, bots and a***holes on those dating sites.
I know because I have recently been doing the same. I almost got myself a mad controlling stalker. Don't ever trust anyone and never tell anyone where you live.
I didn't realise this was a dating site. Read the red flags.
Thanks for caring, but I been on dating sites for decades. I was scammed out of money too.

How do you know it is not a fake profile Kitty?
There a dating site & app that has a blue mark to let you know he real. I video chat with another guy, I didn’t want to, I was busy, I was going turned it off, but I pressed the wrong button.
