He's found a wife from Vietnam (so he's not alone) and from what I understand she is accommodating his maintaining his companionship with Katrina the love doll. The main problem is his mother.

Good question? I guess Katrina would have to consent then

I’m not attacking the man for doing this.

I just think the concept of this sucks.

There’s probably a lot of serious stuff happening in Cyberdad’s life. This could be one of his diversions.

The doll is a bit creepy. But I'm just doll-phobic. I think this guy is pretty awesome though.
At least the doll won't argue back at him. :)

I have a special bond with my teddy bear, although not sexual.

In all seriousness, if my wife started making out with a doll, I would just leave and go to a movie.

Katrina is unable to consent…..hence, no threesome!

By that logic there would never be any sec with sex dolls.. but since there is and consent is implied base on the niche they’ve been manufactured to fulfill, he can take Katrina to all the threesomes/orgies he wants.

..really don’t think she’ll be welcomed by others, but he Could do that. He’d maybe have better luck with another plastic friend or two than real people.

Sometimes lonely people do need to learn to enjoy themselves and their solitude before they’re ready to socialize with others, but it’s more so miserable people vs lonely people. It’s one things to simply want to be around others, and it’s another to be in a horribly negative headspace where you Shouldn’t be around others until you sort that out for yourself first.

Anyone who watched Bladerunner knows the concept of an AI robotic companion (I'm referring to the virtual companion played by Anna De Armas being a substitute for flesh and blood companionship) is realistic Alicia Vikander's robot in "Ex Machina" is also perfect (albeit a little scary).

Robot technology is currently moving in leaps and bounds and the addition of AI means you can have a real companion. Here's the kicker. It's not always about sex. There are already bots on the commercial market that work with socially isolated adults.

I watched Elon Musk reveal Tesla's robot that required 4 or 5 people to move it  Socially isolated people would have to group together in order to do anything physical with one

Did any of you actually read the original post?

The doll's name is "KARINA", not "Katrina".

Other than that, I find the whole concept of an adult owning a "love doll" laughable, if not totally pathetic.

I thought it was immoral (wrong even) for Aspies to judge anybody? When I was a bit grossed out by "adult babies" I got criticised here for judging, but it seems some people here are judging this guy.

Are you judging people for being judgemental?
