I tend to be attracted to women who weigh more than me by a few kilos. My BMI is bang on "healthy". Though this is a bit of an issue for obvious reasons in the bedroom, tends to limit the activities a tad. I also like them 5'7" or taller. I don't care if they are taller than me, though very very few women would fall into this category :)

Well I like good looks when I see them, but OTOH what good are the looks for if the two just won't hit it off anyway?

Some months ago I declined the advances of one who had the looks of a model or actress. Why? Well she and I didn't have anything in common as far as I could see and it was my first time ever showing up in that place (a singles' dance club I read about in the local paper) anyway. All I was out to do was scope it out for what kind of people hung around there and ended up wiggling myself out of something I never expected. It was like -whoah! Too much all at once. Tried as I did, I just couldn't get any real conversation going with her.

OTOH the opposite happened to me in a local night club not too long ago. I was dancing different tunes with different girls when along comes this one who invited me (with her friends) and we danced a few tunes and this tongue-tied Aspie all of a sudden "grew a silver tongue".

Get me and her chatting-up and that will be the first thing to break down the barriers. Then I'll get a pretty good idea of what she's all about if she'll open up like that. What happens next? Okay... Decide... All I had was some club soda; I might have allowed myself one beer on the last hour... She's had some but is not "all out of it"; she still can say yes or no... ...GOTCHA!

The above-seen quote tells the rest

Oh, wow! That's definitely model thin. I hope she was naturally thin and didn't have to torture herself to be so small. I'm 5'7" and look my best when I weigh around 135 lbs. My weight is very evenly distributed (kind of an hourglass figure, people have told me). Any time I've ever gone under 130 lbs., people start to "worry" about me.

Funny, I always thought she had an hourglass figure. :P

Though, people would "worry" about both she and I. We would
pretty much tell them to stuff it. 'Twas perfectly clear to both of
us that we weren't starving or anything.

But bone structure has a lot to do with things. My first gf weighed
about 180 when I met her, and she needed to lose a bit of weight,
but I'd guess somewhere around 160 wasn't bad at all. She was 6' tall
though, with a really powerful frame.

Heh. I'm a nerdy sort of pretty boy - but not NICE at all.

I don't find them attractive either. I'm pretty picky when
it comes to men though - even more so than women. Haven't
found one yet that I'm REALLY interested in.

I wonder whether they are more hated by women, or by
men? I see that whole attitude, and I just want to hurt them.
Bad. Like I said, I'm not nice.

I don't know that I'm actually attracted to flaws. At least, they don't feel like flaws to me. I find men with glasses and hairy chests attractive, whereas women who like perfect pretty boys would have them getting contacts and waxing. SHUDDER! A guy with a Greek God type of sculpted face and a body to match is just too perfect for me.

This is the point that I was making though. Whatever one's
taste, I doubt that anyone puts it aside. You just don't like
what's being sold to guys in playgirl. I don't find most of
what's considered 'hot' in women all that much so. Doesn't
mean that my tastes are TOO far off that though. Now and
then, someone who is thought of as such, and is also in my
taste band, gets some exposure, and I definitely like.

There actually isnt any particular feature about a female that I prefer.. Just as long as shes caucasion.
I pretty much like all shapes and sizes though :D Just as long as they are at least 18, and at the most in their thirties/fourties. But if they are much older then they have to be extremely attractive in my eyes. Usually.

i think that the media's portrayal of an ideal female body form is attractive- but not in a sexual way. models type bodies are just aesthetically pleasing.

(the following is very shallow/)

this relates to the op's thoughts on why athletic men go for athletic women.

i am in a bit of a parodox as far as physical preferances. sexually, i am attracted to overweight women. some curvy skinny girls do it for me. athletic bodies are an automatic turn off.

however, i am i a very active person. specifically, i walk- a LOT. it is my primary mode of transportation and i think nothing of taking a four hour hike across town when i need to be somewhere... i enjoy it.

obviously, if i were in a relationship with someone, they would need to be able to keep up with me. your typical fat girl wouldn't be up to it.

i am most often romantically attracted to younger women (17-19), probably for the reasons stated by tm1.

ugh, why must all my preferances contradict each other?

Yeah, obviously the whole package has to be
right. Though, I tend to find that I get along well
with women who have the kind of looks that I really
like. I don't know why. Though, the fact that makeup
is a turnoff for me, MIGHT just help. :P

if someone is beautiful, they always look good in a healthy weight range.

in my gay stage (haha), i liked very feminine girls. short with small curves. so, i suppose, curvaceous on a reduced spectrum.

for men, i like nerds. intelligence is sexy. for body types... i don't like muscular freakshows (haha), just a natural build who happens to run from time to time. healthy, not obsessive.

myself, i'm sort of my own feminine ideal. not always been that way, but so it has become. :)

Umm technically at that size and in that weight range the girl would technically anorexic since that would acheive a BMI under 17 or 18.

Edit: Oops I guess that was already addressed, but it does depend on certain body types. I am 5'3" and weigh about 125 and that is me not working out at all because I am uber stress out with classes and the only food I have access to is not all that good honestly. When I start working out again and eat what I want (more fruits and veggies) I usually get down to 115, but that is if I am running like five miles a day. But size and such is odd and depends alot on the body type. How much do breast weigh? I wonder that alot. But its weird today I went to a store to try on some jeans since my current single pair is slowly being ripped to sheads, and I put on a size 2 and then I noticed that they didn't fit liek a size 2 so I went back and tried on a size 1 and I was shocked that they actually felt a bit "roomy" I don't know. I was so weirded out I think that the size stuff is wrong but i am going back on friday, and make a joke out of trying on a pair of size 0. Seriously If I can wear a size zero I am telling the manager that all the sizing is wrong.

Like I would think since I am bigger than I usually am then I would go a size up not down.

But as for attractive bodies, you can't change what people are naturally attracted to and you can't really change the way people's bodies work and how it naturally. There are so many people out there with so many different preferences there is bound to be someone who would just drool over your exact body type or not care at all.

Seems thin is the in thing.
I wonder why men like to hold females who are either matronly, or like little pre-pubescent girls.

In the case of aspies males their delayed social development likely leads them to be attracted to younger females and with bodies typical of younger girls. Myself I would prefer a women 17-25.

17?

I know. Seems a bit old to me. :P

That's the age my wife was when I met
her, and she is forever emblazoned in my
mind as that fresh and young. To me, there's
something wonderful about falling in love
with someone young.

I am a guy who is 5'10" and about 190 lbs. I kinda look like Jared from the Subway commercials. And yes, that's me in my avatar.

As for a prospective female partner, I have a thing for females who are height-weight proportionate (for me, this simply means that her boobs stick out more than her stomach--and this can include those who are curvy, not necessarily the swimsuit model-type).

I have an Aspie friend here in Houston whose stomach sticks out a little, but I would guess she is a solid D-cup. I've known her over 4 years.

Haha boobs! Big boobs are like a saving grace if you have a pouch then it looks like you don't as much because they are staring at your boobs! Other than that I don't like mine, bras are really expensive and it hurts on bumby roads.

I do not want to give people the wrong idea. Thats what my brain tells me is ideal. Not my requirements for a potential mate. I would be happy with any women any size and even older than me. :)

One of my sisters friends was 5'3" 95 pounds is where that number started in my head. I've doubled checked online at some Russian
"mail order bride' website. A few hours ago and I think most the women that size are too thin for me. So a women would have to have a small frame to appear ideal at that weight and height.
