I think, most important, the man must smell appealing to me when he sweats. I don't like super skinny, thick around the middle is ok. Must brush teeth, that is important. Number one thing, he must be kind to me, and treat me with respect. I also like body hair. Must do oral sex, too. Number one turnoff for me: "wanna watch a porno?" or being treated like the girls are treated in a porno. Sick sex games creep me out. # one rule if dating me, I will make a man read a romance novel.

Which portray an oh-so accurate representation
of real relationships? How can you so despise the
effect of porn on them, yet want to model your
reality on something so false?

Aren't a lot of those romance novels basically soft porn?

I remember watching the movie rendition of Wide Sargasso Sea at 14. I knew there was a reason why I did the Advanced English class.

There's a segment of this clip which clearly goes into
the idea of mixing male and female fantasies.

When I was a young teen, I always had this dream of this tall, strong male who did the ironing  Actually have it written in a journal from then that my ideal man who I will marry will do the ironing and vaccuuming with me.

But anyway, these days, I seem to go for blue eyes, someone the same height as me or taller, someone who is wiry or slender, not large and someone with a definite air of eccentricity about them and higher than average intelligence.

Ironing's a waste of time.
As to cleaning, to me it all
depends on who's home more.

I did all the cleaning in the later stages
of my marriage.

I agree that ironing is a waste of time. If I have an article of clothing made of a fabric prone to wrinkling really badly, I put in in the dryer with a damp towel for a little bit before I wear it. Cleaning should be done by whoever made the mess.

But yeah, guys. What do I like? The whole muscled strong guy thing is the hugest turn-off for me. I find it hugely intimidating. I like geeks. :)

See, this is what I don't understand though.
The idea that if a guy isn't heavily muscled,
he's some sort of freak biting heads off chickens.

There are other options, you know. It's not Arnold or Woody Allen
as the only choices.

No, that's not what I think. I think that if a guy looks stronger than I am (I myself am quite strong) I feel intimidated.

Interesting. Do you think that you're as strong
as you are, because of this fear?

Probably. I have a history of abuse, though.

I really like aspies, apparently. Some of the guys right here on WP are the best looking I've ever seen, insofar as my personal taste goes. No exaggeration. Especially one in particular, though I sadly have no evidence of the sentiment being mutual.

I don't have a strict standard or ideal. Statistically speaking, most guys who have caught my eye have dark hair, are several inches taller than I am, and are neither skinnny nor all muscled out.

My husband is 6 feet tall and skinny with an extremely cute bumb.

He has the world's skinniest arms - he refers to them as his 'bony, girly arms'. He has a hairy chest - very nice!

I think he is extremely sexy!
