Yep, although some of the most consistently condescending people I've met IRL are women, men typically don't repeat the condescension with me as I'm an angry mf :jester:

As for the OP, I am certain he's trying to get her to like him. I would have done something cringey like that as a teen if I wanted a girl to like me.
