I agree with the words of caution about not getting overinvolved into it. Liking 100 people can take a toll on your self-esteem--especially if only a few or none like you back. You may not notice it at first, but it's happening.

If you decide to do it, use your analytical brain to game it. I have been on many dating sites and at times I decide to play the game and others I just don't want to put that much effort into it. I was way more successful when I played the game. By this I mean having an entertaining and engaging profile that creates interest and intrigue (quality pictures--no selfies). Also, this doesn't mean being dishonest or inauthentic, but it will likely require a bit of masking. Look at the profiles that stand out the most and look engaging. Learn from those. You can also make a profile that would attract you and it will likely attract someone like you. I hope this helps!
