No, but there should be...

Actually the behavior of men has always been kind of terrible and just accepted... even though it shouldn't.

Women have adapted some of the worst parts of male behavior... (and a few of the good qualities)... and men's behavior has just gone completely in the gutter to unbelievable depths.

I agree with this completely.

I'm going to have to disagree. From this young (22) male's point of view, dating is a highly competitive arena. I am very much proactive and forward in my interactions with women for this very reason. I don't know what women the cited article is referring to, but I've asked plenty of women out in college on (although there are significantly fewer women my age in my environment now that I've graduated, which, again, makes competition heavier), and I've been turned down as many times. I'd say women still have the advantage in relationships.

Hmmm, yes, I know what you're talking about and didn't express myself correctly.

What I should really have said is that the cards are stacked in favour of the women, but they've forgotten that fact!

I jump in and help them.
Really confuses the living
sh** out of everyone involved.

Do the parents buy you a drink afterwards?

So whenever you see children: pure carnage.

Yes! I'm not the only one who sees this. I'm pretty sure this will make the next generation of teenagers total ghettoey sluts....sadly. It's pretty sad that I'm 18, and I'm shocked at 15 year olds and younger. It seems like there was a sudden spike in drugs, drinking and promiscuity. Kids aren't caring anymore. When they reach adulthood all will collapse...

People really. I guess I might have some
anti-social behavior. That's why they lock
me up, and I can only use a computer to
communicate.

I totally agree with you both of you. The way young females act has gone down drastically in my opinion.

I remember back when I was really young, in the late 90's, they didn't act like they do now and the moral standard they were probably kept by was higher(as far as I remember but I was like 4-6 years old in the late nineties so I'm probably not very accurate) than it is now. The way they are dressed nowadays shocks me and I've only just turned 14! Has anybody seen the clothing little girls (elementary school age) wear? It's shocking!

I read the 2nd of the two links and I do not see why teenage females would choose undesirable jobs over ones that are productive to the country they are a citizen of.

It seems America, nay, many of the world's countries are sinking into depravity and immorality. Hopefully something will be done before it's too late.

I agree with this completely.

This is what I was talking about in another thread where I was saying the man-pursues-woman convention has been reversed, and that it isn't to women's benefit. I don't like it and I won't participate in it. In fact, I date exactly like my mother did in the 50's.

Fortunately, there are enough old-fashioned guys around to keep me busy.

Just to be clear, it was Wendy Shilat (the author of the book) who wrote the quote which is being ascribed to me in this post.

Once you hit puberty, you'll change your opinion.

I am of the belief that people should have the freedom to dress as they please in public, as long as there is no indecent exposure.

Who am to judge if a ladies dress is too short or too long? :)

But what exactly is indecent? At one point, a bit of calf.
Now, genitals and maybe nipples (on women). For me,
exposed fat is indecent, and far worse than anything that
a well toned body could show.

We're all such people though, and WE
(as a whole) determine the standards
of decency.
