Are Chinese wives more obedient to their husbands?

If non-Chinese wives might be less obedient, then they might not be obedient at all, they don't have to be some level of obedient. Sort of like a scale, where western wives might hover around '0' on the obedience scale with Chinese wives sometimes being further up that scale.

Nope. There are many bigoted and inappropriate beliefs that some people hold, and none of them are okay. Feminist beliefs are fundamental beliefs about the rights and equality of women and are non-negotiable.

And from a language standpoint you are incorrect as to what "more" is used to mean.

Considering that a good portion of societies have different arrangements than strict feminism, worldwide, countries in the Middle East, Africa and East Asia and so on, you are effectively labelling billions of people as having "bigoted and inappropriate beliefs". That sounds more than a little racist and bigoted in itself.

That's not the defense of your position that you think it is. Substitute "racism" and would you still be making this statement?

Perhaps there is some confusion if you didn't read my opening post?

I posted the thread title in the way I did because of the word limit for thread titles.

In the opening post it is clear that the full title of the thread should be:

"Are Chinese wives more obedient to their husbands versus their western counterparts?"

In which case, using the word 'more' is entirely appropriate.
