I don't see that punk killed progressive rock.
Pop crap did. Punk was pure emotions, largely
played by people with little skill in their instruments.
Really, prog morphed into the poppy s**t. Look at
Peter Gabriel's later stuff. Look at Genisis, after the
Genesis album. Mix that in with some real innovations -
bands like The Fixx, and the Eurythmics, and you get
the Cindy Laupers et al.

that is true...
I don't like Punk's sound but it was created by a bunch of pissed teenagers and got huge, gotta give it some respect.
Prog did go crap when the 80's came-either to pop or a mix (eventually going to pop)

euuh ...i think this is your second thread of this kind or i maybe i am mistaken with someone else .

advice: stop using excessively the and the crying icon unless if you are kidding but in your case i don't think so , it's not the end of the world if you are not finding a girl . Have some self-dignity and hold up your balls a bit for testosterone 's sake , being without a girlfriend shouldn't make you less than a man .

Kilory , you remind me of this Pinocchio in the cartoon series who always say every 10 s : "i want to be a real boy" , "i want to be a real boy " . "i want to be a real boy" ...... aarrrgggggh what an annoying whinny character but you say instead "I want a real girl","I want a real girl", "I want a real girl".....
