When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

"Asexual" describes me better than heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual...

I'm rarely aroused anymore.

I used to be "sexual" and now I'm just asexual. I used to make attempts to dress nice, wear make-up and stuff. I was able to wear styles my friends weren't (according to them). I think its because I had the "attitude" for it...being AS allowed me to wear them i guess...

I'v been confused for a male 3 times in the last 18 hours. I look female because I have the body type, but in my own opinion, my face doesn't look male or female. Unless I'm wearing make-up. Which I don't, usually. 8O Its been about a year since I've made any attempt at dressing/looking like a woman (or young lady as some might put it....young lady makes me think of pink and lace and pink lace....and lace equals uncomfortableness)

I am a married male and do have sex, but I had to teach myself to do it. I can be aroused by pictures, but having a real female at hand is distracting and unwanted. If the culture hadn't informed me that men are supposed to penetrate females, I wouldn't have known to do it. I used to think this was a part of my Asperger's, but I've never read that it was a characteristic, and while at least a few with Asperger's are asexual, it seems to be more a byproduct of their social problems rather than anything like my absence of normal male instincts.

Funnily enough I always thought that asexual was where you could impregnate yourself (ie: like a snail) - I guess I'll have to go back and look it up. :)

I've probably told people a few times that snails don't feel anything sexual - oops.

That's if something reproduces asexually. Which is a sort of biological cloning. In terms of sexual preference asexual means either you're not attracted to anyone, or you have no interest in sex.

Yeah, sexual feelings without action is just celibacy.

Which is me. Until I find my soul mate. :P

Celibacy is a choice (for some), whereas for me, sex is something I avoid because I don't like it.

I'm assuming you both don't do sex. Do you guys want to have kids or no?

Pity, I wonder what are you going to do now that you can't have any kids because of your wife.

It doesn't concern me. As I said, it's only an interest, so I can live without it :)

Well I wouldn't be able to. That's why if I met a guy and he didn't want kids, right away I would know he isn't for me. Want to have kids, is on my top list for finding the right guy. Right now I seem to be with the right guy. We have been together since July and so far not much has changed and there hasn't been a lot of fighting and arguments.
