Try a coffee place that is not a chain!
You live in St Louis- aren't there some Route 66 cool places around there? Historic neon signs and stuff from before the Starbucks era?
Yeah, I don't drink coffee either, so I never actively sought out such places. No, there really isn't much Route 66 stuff around here except a few little signs on some of the roads that say "Historic Route 66" (the roads are known better by other names nowadays). Honestly, I don't find
la femme bohème any more attractive than the bar fly. These types are generally interested in things like theater, ballet, the symphony, musicals, and art exhibitions (none of which particularly appeal to me although I tried to come off as
l'artiste briefly in college because I had seen clips of movies where the artist attracts beautiful women and then has earth-shattering sex with them, which struck me as appealing).
Walk into a nearby Starbucks, order a grande extra mocha, mocha frappuchino & start drinking. It may taste like crap at first but it grows on you & you'll begin to like it...trust me.
There was a time when I wouldn't drink the stuff just 6 months ago but now I order a venti extra mocha, mocha frappuchino every time I go in there. With enough sugar(I use 3 packs) even their mocha latte's are good.Once you've done that, find yourself a nice girl to sit next to & engage in a friendly conversation with her.
