wait until you get a 'looping' dream.

ho boy those are a trip.

When I was taking a certain prescription medicine I had a looping seizure/dream. The dream/hallucination part of it started with the real room spinning, then I would go under and would be moving really fast through random scenes, with high pitched noises and I would try to wake then I would end up back on a bed thinking I was back in my room but in fact it wasn't then it would start spinning again, this repeated several times until I was able to confirm was back in the real world. However it was really difficult to stop myself from going under again.

I had to hold my eyelids open with my fingers in the end and really concentrate on trying to fight it. When you can't blink it feels like your eyes are getting cut up with sandpaper.

I had a dream about a girl like that once. I'm a fairly good artist, so over the next few weeks I drew a rough rendition of her face. I also gave her the name Hunter Green. Figured it was better than "the girl of the dreams."

Maybe this is your personal "parents that go 'WAKE UP' in the middle of the night" alarm. When I sleep in an unfamiliar place, I always snap awake at 7am the first night. The others, not so much.

Oh, and I hallucinated once. Few years ago, had a 104F fever. I was waking up when i had free cable in my room. It was mild enough that I knew what was happening. Still, it was intruiging.
