My boyfriend's about the same weight as me, and it makes me quite upset when he weighs less than I do, because I'm almost constantly battling with my weight. It doesn't make me love him any more or less, though, just makes me want to poke him in the ribs a lot and complain. XD

Maybe it's geographical too. My view might be a bit warped.

I grew up around the entertainment industry in Los Angeles county- where girls MUST be skinnier in comparison. But, if they are skinny it's considered ok for them to have an inch or two on the guy, as long as it's all in the legs. Also, a lot of guys that go into acting or other forms of performance are short. I don't know why this is, but you just get used to it.

edit: I just read that back, and WOW I sound shallow. Not saying I agree with this, it's just the viewpoint I grew up around.

i think a lot of the differences in opinion on these subjects is down to different countries, different cultures. Different things being seen as attractive or acceptable or desirable in different places.

There's nothing shallow in what you said , natural selection is the wisest instinct and there's no shame to admit it , in fact I highly respect whose admit it.

I should have worded this survey differently. Do you prefer for them not to me slimmer then you. That would be like me saying don't mind of my girlfriend doesn't have the mind of Steven Howkings but would like it if she did.

The biggest issue I have is that when I have developed the body perfect, I will outshadow any potentual girlfiend.
