Well, i suppose, but i don't really care for the topic in general.
I'd say the woman that you would most likely would have a problem
with would be your stereotypical alpha female. They like control, they
prefer dominance, you'd do better with a female who are attracted to the
broken or needy causal-type. They tend to nurture.
Perhaps I'm wrong?

That sounds about right. But if you dont really care for a topic in general than dont reply.
Whats very strange is that I encounter a LOT of (young)women who are like that. It
sometimes makes me wonder if alpha-femininity is some kind of trend and may in part be
a byproduct of how these women were raised...... :?

Sounds like your saying a woman who's jock-alpha (like the characters in Descent) rather than model-alpha. As far as I've noticed with more delicate women, they seem even feel more in need of a brick-wall for a man.

For me at least, I can see somebody thinking that I'm intense in that I get more and more pushy when things are unclear or I don't feel like I'm getting the whole story. This is especially true in my dating life. Most women don't like to do more than hint at things, and since I never pick up on their hints, I'm ALWAYS confused about something or other. The more confused I am, the more I push to get a straight awnser to whatever I'm not sure about. That puts people in general, and women in particular off it seems, but so far I've been unsuccessful at avoiding it in spite of my knowledge of the problem.

Couple that with a huge fear of offending people or screwing things up by saying or doing the wrong thing, and it makes for a bad dating life no matter what. Personally, I don't want to be "fixed" or babied, or mothered over (at least not very much or very often). I just want somebody who can be blunt, straightforward, and clear when needed.

It's because this world is becoming a woman's world.
I shutter at the thought, but hopefully through such we can
make the environment healthier. All you straight men be
prepared to give "face" at command. You will be the slaves
of society; think of how a bee's hive works. What's going to
happen to me, a lowly homo? I'll probably be put to death
for not knowing how to fix hair or paint nails.

Nah, I think you'll be at the head of the trend - probably many more straight guys will either wish they had what you did or will be asking advice on if they can make that happen (and probably not even joking). That and if it worked that way, they wouldn't be able to get any from most self-respecting guys; that of course would put the guy who cares about life over just going out and getting it in a position where he's a bit more of a college star-jock than a sideliner. I sure as hell wouldn't jump on the opportunism bandwagon like that just because, once you let an S/O into your life and especially once she has a ring on her finger - you're also giving her authority to completely destroy you, make your whole life take a jaunt to the right or left, and even after the last alimony or child support check was paid the damage it would do psychologically and how many years of your life it took would be irrecoverable. No, I'm not a mysogenist or a hater, just that when I look at what kind of world this is - I can't miss the obvious and its why I know I need to watch my back, most guys with common sense know they really need to watch their backs.

It is scary techie. I've been a friend to the ladies, like most of my life, but when i was getting around the age of 17-18, i started to realize how they like to control things. I was talking to my best friend about how attractive i thought this guy was, and she would tell me the negatives why i shouldn't feel that way. Then down the road i learned that she didn't believe i was gay, and that is was all in my head. How f*****g scary is that?? Someone who befriends you to try to "mold" you. Crazy.

So now women who are attractive still approach me for friendship and all that jazz: I'm scared! What do they want? That's why I am now almost exclusively a friend to men, and that's no lie. I don't want to seem hypocritical about the above process, but now i tend to think that women are afraid of me; they see me as an enemy. Like I'm going to take out my gay ray and start shooting a crowd of dude-bombs (that's my new word for hot men). I definately want to point out how all my life i've noticed that women tend to think there is more behind the scenes of "manlihoodness"; like we all visit bathhouses and speak in secret tongues. It's weird, because of that, i'm not too close to certain woman who seem to be of the alpha-elk. You know who really scares me for that type? f*****g Nancy Grace!! ! s**t, I could be backstage giving her a facial and confiding in her all my secrets, but because of men-controlling-rearing-mentality, I'd say something wrong, and that b***h would stick a nine-inch stelleto through the back of my head, outta my left eye, and she would confide that I wasn't worth a fleck. All I gotta say what it boils down to, the Man-animal, or Manimal, is soon to be extinct.

Averick-I dont know if its a "womans world", but its definitely a "womans america". AFAIC western women have Way too much power and so I regard feminists as mortal enemies. If you think the world is a nasty place with men running it,
you aint seen nothing yet! It will MUCH worse if women get control

Just think what will happen to evolution then.
What if women start to resemble the amazons?

I have to admit, that I have had the same problem and I am a woman. Meaning that I have tried to befriend other women, only to have them turn around and try to convince me that I am gay, just because they found that they were attracted to me! And then they would turn ugly, or ignore me, or stalk me if I said I was straight and not interested in them that way.

I am a very intense person, whom will pursue a goal with a doggedness that few mortals can comprehend. My life is a drama where I am the epic hero, anti-hero, and tragic hero mixed into one package. When I involve myself in something, it will be short, it will be brutal but above all it will be memorable.

I've had no successful relationships. In high school I put off a lot of people with my intensity; granted I was pumped up on aCh enhancers and was effectively manic-depressive my senior year but that's no excuse for the harm I caused a girl by intensively pursuing her. After that, I've become excessively self-contained around girls, going for the occasional blind date but otherwise not pursuing interest in any particular girl. This too has failed me, as a girl I liked ended up dating another guy, and for the next 6 to 8 months I kept my brokenheartedness to myself, investing in excessive videogaming/warhammer modeling. Only later did someone else find out and tell her, and by then things turned into a mess...by now, even though I still like her, I've pretty much given up on there ever being a chance of being with her, as she's engaged to her boyfriend now. 20 is too damn young to get engaged, and it is only making me feel old.

I tried volunteering for Habitat for Humanities as a tutor for the Girls Club in Raleigh. This entailed working with other college students to tutor 4th/5th grade students afterschool. In a particular case, one of the girls from my campus was talking with one of the younger girls about relationships and how she had numerous crummy boyfriends...the younger girl asks how many girlfriends, then says "none. You don't like girls do you?" I find this more than a little frustrating, to be called out on gender preference just because I don't show outward interest towards skirt-chasing (as I've been asked this same question by parents, and other family members...numerous times.).
