Worst relationships

My most recent relationship was my worst. I dated some girl who I thought took a liking in me over a span of two years and she confessed to being in love with me one day when she called me and I told her I loved her too. We dated for about 2-3 weeks and then I find out she's with a 29 year old man and I feel like I wanted to be sick thinking about it. So me being me, addressed the issue to her and she denied it so I just formally told her, "It's over. Goodbye now and forever." and then hung up on her. I felt bad at first but looking back now, I don't.
