how to deal with Breakup depression

For me, I have written about it. That helped get feelings, focused, and OUT on paper. Then I would read out loud to myself what I have written and listened to myself. That helps put some of those feelings dead cold in their place.

But, like others have said... time heals.

A series of less helpful answers:
drug abuse/chronic masturbation/one night stands/overeating/find religion/buy a puppy/adopt a child/go to vegas/move to a primitive shack in the mountains with a cot and a typewriter to send mail bombs at random people you hate/pay a therapist.

Just try and get over it. Keep yourself busy with things you like doing, dump all the things which reminds you of him/her. Tell yourself one thing that whatever happens is for good and you will surely get over it. Best luck.

i just prefer not getting too attached in the first place. i never found anything but time healed me when my first girlfriend dumped me. that and sad songs.
