Wow, I didn't know so many aspie guys were kissing-averse. I, personally, didn't kiss a girl until the age of 19. But when I did, I loved it; I found myself getting extremely turned on by it. So I've been seeking out opportunities to make out (a.k.a. French kiss) ever since. Although I've kissed a girl a couple of times by now, I still get highly turned on by kissing.

It's not just Aspies. I know an NT woman who describes kissing as "sucking on an alimentary canal." 8O

I didn't like it as a child.

It doesn't turn me on when I see movie actors and actresses kissing- it's boring, slightly disgusting, and looks like they're devouring each other ravenously with their mouths.

I cringe at "friendly" kisses, the sort you get from a grandmother or friend. :shudder:

In a romantic sense, I have to be feeling extremely passionate to *want* a wet kiss. Fairly dry kisses or muzzling is fine. A quick nibble of the other party's lower lip is fine. Smearing wet lips around or having a wet mouth plastered on my face isn't, most of the time. It just feels....slobbery to me.

I never been kissed in a romantic way, means I dunno what it feels like. But I do not like being kissed in other ways of that much.

I think it depends on who you are kissing... that and if the person had onions for lunch... ;-)

It all depends on how you feel about the person and of course how attracted you are to them.

I actually like kissing, but it isn't like I get the chance very often. Its been over a year now. lol

It only bothers me when the person has bad breath or smokes.

Not tattered, just a little gummy on the back (or is that on the front?)

Agree & if that was all I felt, no problem. The conflict is that I also have the "urge to merge". So I have extreme revulsion towards & yet strong interest in certain biological/physical stuff.
Seeing others kissing is icky, but I don't begrudge others their happyfun-unless I'm alone & resentfully bitter. People look silly doing most things, to themselves or to each other-I'm no exception. One starts out w/eyes closed, eventually one gets familiar enough w/other person to perhaps look at same time as kissing. Easier to pay attention to sensation if one isn't distracted by visuals, though.
How kissing feels-well, it ranges from terrible to pretty nifty. Wet wobbly-lipped wide-open kisses are gross. Tongue-involvement can take some getting-used to, or may never become appealing. Does depend a lot on who one is kissing, how one feels at that particular moment, all those vague variables.
Despised kissing family members/being kissed by them (not in my life now so no longer an issue). As an adult in relationships, I prefer face-on-face contact instead of the focussed mouth-to-mouth encounter.

Kissing family members/co-workers or others that you're not intimate with? Only if I HAVE to.
