What part of Texas?

Dallas I think, or Austin... I can't remember. I haven't been to Texas in a long time.

I've heard that one - doesn't exactly mean you're 'hot' persay, doesn't mean you're not either. It's more along the lines of you being really strong willed with a bit of a temper (but again in a positive way), perhaps very vocal? It's actually a hard one to explain.

I'd say this description is pretty good.

Men will either like a woman with such a demeanor or they won't. Thing is... I'm willing to wager it takes a guy a lot longer to figure out whether or not he likes a quiet girl vs a spitfire...

So, if they seem interested... chances are it's a compliment

I think I like quiet girls, but not in a bad way, I just mean I would like a girl like me and I'm quiet, I'm rambling now...

Spitfire is an attempt to pawn off a potentially violent and irascible temper as "passions." If you want passions, read a poem.

Well I have lived in Texas my entire life, been to all corners multiple times, and never heard the phrase, so as far as I know it's not a regional thing :P

I am quiet though and I've always been very shy. I guess we all have different elements to our personality even if we are quiet. Different people reflect different sides of my personality or it may depend on what mood I'm in. Wether I'm feeling depressed, anxious or happy but mostly I'm quiet person and always have been.

In my experience... spitfire = spunky, assertive or slightly aggressive, bold.

spitfires are a kind of caterpillar as well so he probably means that.

Ohh yes, I am a little caterpillar that eats flowers and leaves. That's probably what they meant. :?

Yes my xboyfriend friend use to say I was such a spunk and people have said what I say is very bold or word similar. I figure that is an aspie trait.

I reckon some (not all) aspie girls tend to be like that. I'm one of them. :P
