You just have a poor choice in women. A woman that believes in equality and has her own independance often has no issues with helping pay for things.

Couldn't agree with you more!

Why do men have to always generalise women as money leaching opportunists! :)

Because unfortunately the majority of women we interact with display those traits. We(or at least I) hear what MishLuvsHer2Boys said all the time, but no one ever tells us where or how to find these women who truly want equality.

LOL, is this a joke?

I've seen quite the opposite in the same scenarios.

OP, you seem very shallow when it comes to women, I've learned a couple of things over the last nearly 10 years

1) women don't blame men for everything
2) women don't expect men to pay for everything

that's my own personal experience by the way, other's may have a different opinion

we're all different, whether male or female

lol. People can find ways to blame anything on each other, male or female. Been that way since the dawn of humanity. Just part of human nature.

Yep, I agree.

Some do, some don't. You can't generalize. Everyone is an individual.

If we live in a world of equality, would it be wrong to let the lady pay for a meal. Then you wonder why they do not return your calls?
It would seem as though this equality fails for tradition ...

Never happened to me, but the sexes are not equal, they never will be. There are things women can and can't do, and things that men can and can not do...

The only equal thing is the basic concept of a homosapien.

Being equals doesn't mean they have to have the same strengths. Men and women both have their own strengths and weaknesses and they compliment eachother.

I've found words like 'always' and 'every' are very dangerous when used in reference to women...;)

"Let he who deems himself without fault...take a wife"...;)

When people blame people it's not for nothing you know.

That is co-dependency and both men and women can do it. It isnt healthy. There are some men that put women in situations (or try to) where they will have to become dependent on them for everything. It is thier way of controlling.
