Yeah. I miss my wife terribly. I thought that we had something which would last for all time (why do things have to be transient?). She met nearly all of my needs and desires, and I thought that somehow I met hers. She ended up kicking me out though, and going crazy (not necessarily in that order), a couple of years ago. It looked like we might be able to make another go of it, but I had some concerns. When I expressed them, her response was, "well, I guess that's it then." I wrote some bitter things, and some that weren't bitter - so she stopped all contact. I don't even know for certain where she is any longer. I miss her every day - and don't know that I'll ever have the energy to love again - not like I once was able.

[quote="RedMage"]AngelsFall, make a close friend and leave them for a week. You'll miss them for sure. [\quote]

And forget their existence in a couple more. At least that's how I usually am. I have had so many friends in the past, whom I miss a tiny bit, but never managed to maintain contact. AND, once they're gone, if you get back with them, it's like they never were gone.

I miss a woman whom I had begun corresponding with nearly a year ago, but had lost contact three weeks after the correspondence began. I keep holding out, hoping that she will resurface, but I may never hear from her again.

It is especially upsetting because she and I seemed to have very much in common.

Tim

Even tried e-mailing my wife at the last active account I know of. It's gone.

I miss RedMage, she hasn't been online today, guess she's having fun on FFX-2.

I don't know why this thread caught my eye tonight. I got a bit confused when I thought about the question this time. I don't have an answer. I don't know what it is I miss. I miss something, but I no longer know if it is the person, how I felt around the person, how I used to view the person, or something else. Maybe that's a step towards not missing them? I'm not really sure...

Not someone - something. I miss the point of my beard. Took it off this morning. It sure is cold on my chin without it.

Mom. Always. I still miss Mom. She's been gone 2.5 years. We were great friends. I think she was aspie like me. She used to ask, "Do you think we're different?" and I'd say, "No, we're just like other people" because I was very stupid.

I miss this girl at college when I had to leave. She must miss me too, and I got my first kiss (and then some) cause I was leaving. I guess that made it worth it.

I miss a friend of mine...She lives really far away now, and because of time differences, phone calls are hard to make.
