MCalavera, you assigned a motive to Boo, but you'd rather i didn't do that to you. same=same.

Based on evidence. Anyway, please stop dragging Boo into this. You could've just conceded the point without mentioning other peoples' names.

i am interested in how you characterise your feelings about women, for example whether you can relate to the OP's feelings. but i understand that you might not want to answer it for a variety of reasons.

You've shown you have doubts about me whether in public forum or in private. As I'm keeping this in mind, I'm not interested in trying to prove to you anything. There are WP women and women on other autistic forums who know me better than you do, and they know if I'm a misogynist or not.

Play your interrogation games elsewhere.

moving on, if you take the time to reseach misogyny, you will understand that the OP is correct in calling himself misogynist. hating a subsection of women (usually because they won't give a man what he wants) is one type of misogyny that is well-defined in the literature.

As I said before, I hate women who happen to be abusers in their relationships with their spouses or kids. So I actually hate a subset of women. Now try to figure out why this is nowhere near misogynism.

There's nothing wrong with misogyny. No sense attaching judgements to interesting conditions that are worth exploring.

We live in a world where just a small hint of hatred for certain women will rile up the hyper feminist crowd and get them witch hunting you.

Misogyny should be applied carefully to people who specifically hate women simply because they're women. Not because of some other reason that has nothing to do with the gender itself.

It's also important to note that actions should also determine the answer to the misogyny question and not just invisible thoughts.

This is a forum of detached, analytical autistics, not feminist witches. I think we can use the words that best fit. Concepts are worth exploring honestly without judgment, it behooves us not to fear words.

I'm with you on exploring these ideas, but detached is not what I'm seeing 100% in this thread.

But let's see if we can get this going in a detached and better direction ... what interests you about misogynism?

actually, i agree.

EDIT: what i mean is that, nothing is incurable or unfixable in this area, so it is worth exploring whether we can help the OP (even if we disagree about methods). and it is also worth talking about the definitions of misogyny and how it is expressed. i also agree with your characterisation of the forum.

if you hate a subset of women for any reason, you could potentially be a misogynist too. now your response to the OP makes sense.

"But let's see if we can get this going in a detached and better direction ... what interests you about misogynism?"

There was another thread where a guy couldn't understand why a girl would change her mind about him after he seemed needycrazy; he was stuck on the idea that she lied to him in the first place, not that she changed her mind. It was fascinating watching him smash his head against it. I wonder if the OP misogyny is a continuation of that. I'm barely aware of my own issues, because they so rarely present; I find the whole subject of holding onto comforting lies to be fascinating. For example all words are ultimately a lie, a barrier to the real world, but useful so long as you know what they are.

I think MCalavera has visited Lebanon before, so he would understand what I am talking about.
