why am I an authority on what female people are attracted to?

That one time all I said is that I am female so it made no sense for a bunch of males to lecture me on what females liked, although, that being said, also why not? But in that particular instance, I was right.

Personally, I am not big on facial or body hair in general, but I have found a three day stubble sexy on occasion.

No. I want my buttons back. Plus, all that extra stuff people do on their phones these days? SOOOOO not interested. A phone is for contacting people when necessary, not posting pictures online and playing stupid games while you ignore the people around you.

I absolutely hate the fact that I even need a cell phone at all.

It has physical buttons. The keyboard is fantastic and the phone is not as feature-filled as Androids, Windows Phones, or iPhones are. I'm confused, lol.

I hate the fact that I even need a phone, and despise the cell phone culture. What's there to be confused about?

Apparantly it'll wipe out the human race by lowering sperm count.

Oh well.

Since the mobile/cell phone came in, I've noticed that people don't talk to others as much in public, or on public transport. It has affected society in a rotten way. Has it helped or hindered those with dating issues, I don't know.

I just don't understand why people would want to miss what's going on around them in favor of app games and texting people they can always talk to later. "But I'm BORED" seems to be a common excuse, but I submit boredom is not as bad as people think it is. Those quiet 'boring' moments are where inspiration and self-reflection occur.

People don't do enough self-reflection these days. They're too busy trying to fill the void with meaningless entertainment.

I have one only because I share custody of my children with their father, who lives 4 hours away.

You think life is a search for meaning?

The majority - the masses - are very happy living for sensation and whatever makes them feel good. Introspection can be painful, starting a conversation can be risky. I mean, why not just be able to choose exactly what we want, because it's comfortable, and just avoid everything that is uncomfortable?

I read a quote a while ago - "Somewhere along the line, comfort got confused for happiness". I think most people bow to the comfort god, and thus comfort zones are our permanent bubbles.

People tend to run away from boredom - perhaps, sometimes, it's a feeling which means 'keep going'.

Yes. What's the point without some sort of meaning? Instant gratification and comfort zones are hollow.

I'm certainly not one to promote stagnation.

Oh no - you've just pressed the 'what's the point button'.

I would agree with you, to a large extent.

But not everyone would - and whose to say who is right? (even though we might know otherwise :) )

Of course, dahrling. You're the one with the vagina.

It's funny, though - most men's 'meaning' is to get laid. I mean, they (I'm detaching myself from this) are born out of a vagina, and spend most of their lives trying to get back inside one. Hey, it keeps them busy, keeps society the way it is...passes the time.

I wonder what's most women's 'meaning' is...

Life has no meaning other than what we choose it to have.

IDK... I think most people (male or female) just want to be loved. How we go about achieving that would depend more on individual temperaments and passions, I suppose. One can perceive getting laid as receiving love.

I didn't say there was an inherent meaning. Just that life is a search for meaning.

Why this thread has changed into vagina talk?

'Cause all I got for my photo was "looking sexy!"?

IDK... I seem to be a thread derailer. :?
