Whys it have to not be ok to ask if a woman likes you?

If I unexpectedly noticed a gun on a man I had just started dating, I might worry that he was planning on using it to threaten me or something like that.

The first boy I dated owned guns and liked to hunt. A lot of the people I grew up with had them, so I’m not saying that the notion of a gun would bother me.

It’s just that discovering a gun on someone I didn’t know that well would probably bother me quite a bit.
