That doesn’t stop a wildebeest from bringing children into a world populated by lions.

Yes, we little guys need to feed the lions in society.

You do realise the only reason you regret not having grandkids is because of your genetic coding, right?

I feel like if I was a father, I would have been more mature now.

A terribly selfish reason to bring a child into the world, imo. 8)

Ha! Don't fool yourself - and I mean that sincerely.

I'm a mother and I still feel 13. In fact my daughter says that she feels older / more mature than I am.

She has to parent me quite often, like a Freaky Friday role reversal.

There are many things she's comfortable doing, that I'm not - and vice versa.

I have a younger friend 1/2 my age , she said the exact same thing to me about being the parent acting one in our friendship . But am better at some technical electronic things then her . .

You do realise I am using the term 'selfish' in an objective sense, right?
It is not a condemnation.

All humanity and huwomanity are inextricably selfish by nature.
It is written in our genetic coding.

Whew. That’s pretty darn warm . Where do you live that someone would want to turn the temperature up that high ?
Can’t blame you .

i worked in a hospital, a maternal care unit [Labor & Delivery/OB/GYN] for 2+ decades, they turned up the heat that high for the little babies and the adult pantywaists who worked there and complained that it was still too cold for them, shivering while wearing sweaters! imagine living with those types 24/7.

Autistic people tend to be childlike.
There is a physical reason for that.
Part of our brain doesn't develop the way NT brains develop.

We are different. 8)
