Ohhh... isn't that so annoying? Those women.

I know right. Women!

We should meet over a cup of wine and whine about women together.

It's a date then! :D

Where are you going to meet?

On Skype? -__-

So romantic. Will you do that roadkill face with your real face?

I can do any face you want, babe. *biting face*

It's only early days though, make sure you wear your yellow dress not your red dress.

As a corollary of this question, yellow, what fictional characters do you find attractive, and why? What would be an awesome date?

Seriously not looking for ideas, I'm just curious. And I'm wondering if there's a way of thinking which might help cross that digital-analog divide.

I wonder if part of the problem isn't that you're comparing your dates to yourself rather than to each other. Hard for anyone to compete with a 25 year old relationship.

Yes, but only because they weren't single.

Fictional characters? Hmm... I don't think I'm generally attracted to fictional characters. Some are good-looking, but physical attraction isn't my problem, so I don't think listing them would help.

An awesome date? I like all types of dates, dating is fun. I suppose my favourites have been ones where we move around, e.g. grabbing a drink at various bars, or going from dinner to movie to bar. Something like that. I had a 6 hour first date that was spent chatting at a cafe then going for a bushwalk. I also like going places like the zoo or similar.

Neverrrrr.

Hmm...

I didn't say physically. There are no fictional characters you'd be attracted to in any way?

I don't think so, because they are fictional. It would feel a bit odd and creepy :?

Bah. Try anyway, it's just a gauge.

What fictional character, if they were actually real, would you be really interested in?

Gosh, I dunno, errm...that nerdy guy off Criminal Minds?

Or maybe Dexter if he wasn't a serial killer.

John Snow.

Was afraid you might ask that. Will PM you the answer. For public viewing let's just say I like forensic scientists.

he was a sociopath, no? 8O or at least he believed himself to be and played people accordingly. i don't get the appeal, but then i don't watch the show.

Yeah you need to watch the show, he's a lovable character, especially as he learns and grows and gets better at social and emotional stuff. I haven't read the books so I'm just talk about the TV version. If you take the fact that he kills bad guys out of it, he's a socially-awkward, introverted, scientific-minded guy who's just trying to do the right thing by everyone.

he doesn't actually sound lovable to me, so i think we may have different definitions.
