Disagree. It's not bad, but misses the mark IMO.

"I am what I am, I am my own special creation"

I agree with half of that.

Anyways, not the place to debate it.

What happens when you find it? Kind of takes the fun out of things... :P

Can we define 'meaning' first?

Why? Defining it is restrictive. To me personally, it's a reason to keep fighting. A reason to continue to strive for inner peace and balance. Or, perhaps, it's the journey that truly matters and the destination at the end of the road really doesn't matter.

I don't usually like how my pictures turn out, but this was tolerable.

I now right? Why would they want to play some simple minded touch screen game when they could be playing on a 3DS or a Vita? Even a black and white Game Boy would be better and I should know because I still own one. How can people stand to use touch screen controls when they could have real buttons for their portable games?

I disagree. Life has no meaning. Anyone who attempts to assign meaning to their lives is simply trying to delude themselves into comfort. Everyone should remember this:

You are matter cursed with sentience and you didn't have any problems when you were the heart of a star.

I was speaking more in terms of interpersonal relationships, chance meetings, enjoying a beautiful day in silence... etc. It really bugs me how so many people think nothing of pulling out their phones while out to lunch with a friend, for instance, and sit there texting other people while ignoring the person right in front of them.

It's disgusting, yeah! It's shockingly rude.

Now, though, anyone who believes this is old-fashioned.

I'm okay with being called old fashioned when it comes to manners. People are too damned rude these days.

I think it's a total lack of consideration.

Oh, and people saying 'well, everyone else isn't showing any manners, so why should I'.

My 6 year old knows better than to use that argument.

People have become far to "me me me" oriented. They've forgotten that there are other people besides them that exist. From what I understand, this is especially true of the average US citizen.
