I wouldn't know to be honest, I barely live my own life. Everyone deserves as much though, emotional support, tender love and care that is. But my personal expirience is, the least attractive people often marry the earliest. Maybe because once they find someone, they don't expect many more chances to appear.
I also don't believe in this strictly linearly hierarchical model of the society. While there is some social gradation, there is also a complicated structure of branches and niches.
