Now lets look at some other stuff. first MY MOM DID NOT TELL ME TO POST THIS. Since you obviously all keep taking what I said as scripture, keep that in mind.

Now, let's consider, and I'm sure you've all noticed I'm a lot more calm. When I made this thread I was having a horrible day. Some thing are exaggerated.
So quit taking it so literally, caus most of you sound really stupid.

So..
In conclusion..
DON'T TALK TO MY MAMA LIKE THAT.

Sure I do. You just don't like it that I understand, and you don't want to hear what I'm saying to you, and you want to pretend you don't hear it.

ignored the literalness problem

It's not a problem, it's a standard -- and a high one.

You've also ignored my point, but hey. That's your MO.

I never even insinuated it (this misunderstanding) is about what i or anyone else likes.

It's not a misunderstanding. And it's about your son being able to communicate with others, without your interference. You might want to start thinking about handing that one over.

I did.

Don't need to. My writing kicks ass.

You, on the other hand, can't even use pronouns correctly... cupcake.

(Hey, I've called you a name now. Why don't you run to the mods?)

I sure hope that's not directed at me, after the supportive PM you sent.

I'm still laughing. Why, you cannot possibly know just as you cannot possibly know the whole truth based on a few internet posts. Even IF he sent you a PM, it still does not signify. If you truly knew anything about all this, you would know why. I wish for your own peace of mind you would just entertain the very valid notion that with the very little factual information you have here, if any, you see nothing more than an illusion. It is obvious that the only true thing you are holding on to here is your preconceived notions and biases. I'll leave you with one new parting thought; for all you truly know, WhateverDude and Deadpanhead could be the very same person. I still stand by my statement that giving radical advice to teens based on the nothing that can be known by their internet posts is irresponsible and possibly worse. (In fact, why would you care so very much whether a teenage boy was out on his own? No one can know for sure what you are after.) This is the only point i have worked to make.

Oh, small P.S. You are the only one talking to me "like that".

Or care

Got it. I can't come to conclusions when I lack information -- but YOU can. Wow, you must be magic.

Doubt it. Your writing's better, though not by much.

I still stand by my position that teens have a right to communicate with others without interference, and to ask for and receive advice even if you don't like that advice.

Well, I don't care now. But before I got publicly backstabbed, I figured an asperger's teen whose mom thought she had the right to control his social interactions should be encouraged to get ready to stand on his own ASAP.

I haven't seen controlling parents change their ways due to anything but distance and the realization that if they want to see their kid, they'd better make nice.

By the way, in my response to his PM, I told him to focus on his education so he could support himself as well as possible. You ought to like that, although I didn't say it for that reason.

Oh, right. Not being satisfied with my fiance, I now also want your teenage American son and his $50 bottles of Calvin "Cline".

As soon as he's out of your home, I'll be jetting down to Broad Beam, Ohio or wherever you live, and searching for him apartment by apartment.

I think you've worked to make the point that any advice offered to teens on this forum should be vetted by their mommies.

I reject that entirely.

Thanks for the tip, but I got there on my own.
