i hear a lot of complaints of women on here being harrassed or annoyed by guys on here trying to pursue them.

if a guy really thinks that a woman who posts on an internet forum who lives 1000 miles away, who (even if they stalked posts) they barely know, is their soul mate, thats pathetic and they really need to go outside and meet people.

I've formed a few genuinely awesome relationships through WP, as have other people I know, that we've then gone on to make into 'real life' (as if it is so distinct anymore) relationships. So... I feel rather offended by your post.

I have found a lot of friends, here on WP.
To each their own. <shrug>

Nick007, i dunno what is considered creepy specifically, but your preference for girls who are younger is kind of well known because you've mentioned it a lot on your posts (i.e. talking to & flirting with teens on other forums). so if you interact in the same way with much younger women on WP it could be considered creepy to some people, depending on what kinds of things you are saying to them.

Talking to young women - maybe even too young - now, that's "creep extraordinaire" What a shame...just when you thought it was safe..... 8O

So you are saying people are only thinking in terms of a sexual context/encounter?
Interesting.

Yeah but most Brits think Prince Andrew is a creep & most Democrats thing Trump is a creep & most Republicans think Biden is a creep...

OK. As soon as someones dislike somebody or how he is or acts then he's a creep even if he doesn't hurt anybody by the way he is.
My opinion is that most people have to learn to ignore such opinions just because there are always others who dislike the way that somebody is. Be it because he doesn't care the rules of their religion or that he just have a hairstyle they dislike or a wrong dressing style or that he is just to unaware of others to cause them respect him or sometimes even fear him. For me are those ones creeps only who always expects of others to match their private rules of what seems OK to them and matches their morality. Even here are a lot of such creepy people. To hell with them!

And some of those who are over-complaining about getting too much creep attention are probably boasting indirectly.

Boo gives me the chills - very insightful

I am going to be honest, I didnt read the majority of the comments. I have no attention span. But this is an autism forum, and ppl on the spectrum, especially men, have a really hard time with relationships and are undoubtedly lonely.

I'm female, but I am beyond lonely. I do not judge ppl for trying. When pass a certain age and you're still alone...the world gets a little bit darker. Also, men on the spectrum do communicate in their own way - direct, blunt, and very literal/logical. They are usually not trying to come off as creepsters.

Sorry, my little rant bc I have met genuine ppl who are just lonely AF.

People can be very uncharitable.
Ageism is a major problem with the Millenials, I have heard.
I have no time for that nonsense.
Why be so disrespectful?
Older people are people too.

If one isn't interested, just ignore the person, without putting in the boot.
Not rocket surgery. 8)

I'm not sure if you were saying I am being uncharitable and participating in ageism....

I was actually referring to myself - once I hit my mid 30's life did become darker. I have been single and alone for 7 years now. The days do get darker the longer I am alone.
