So, anyone who reeks or gives off that odor is going to get snubbed.

Why are you so interested on getting with Asians anyway? Is it because you are a minority and cannot make friends in other races, or are you targeting this race specifically for some sort of fetish? I would try to understand your motives before you approach people BECAUSE of their race, not DESPITE their race.

I'm half Korean. Once I tell men I'm half Korean men go crazy. I know that some men use Asian women. Some Asian women can use men too to get into the US for example. Also Asian women can be very submissive to men. Maybe men just like Asians because we tend to be more thinner and petite than other races? I don't know. :?

Tell me about it. I am almost one quarter Japanese. And a quarter creole. Some men find that so exiting. I think it´s really scary. I know a lot of men who use ´exotic´ women.

Can you speak Japanese? I can speak Korean, read and write it as well. I spoke it better when I was in elementary school. Did you ever live in Japan? I lived in Korea for 10 years since dad was in the US Army.

My mom can spreak quite some Japanese, but I can´t, at al. :P
That´s really awesome that you speak it and that you lived in Korea for ten years? Did you learn Korean AND English when you were there?

Mom talks to me mainly in English. I learned Korean from maybe age 5 or so. I had to speak Korean to most of mom's family. But when we moved to the US I barely used Korean. I did take Korean as a foreign language in high school. I can still speak and read it, but can't write it. I'm actually going to Korea in the fall to visit some of mom's family. I have a accent when I speak Korean. Dad knows more Korean than me.

Korean women are absolutely delightful. I'm sure that most make outstanding wives.

That's how dad met mom when he was stationed in Korea. Apparently there was an area off of the US Army base we stayed at that had tons of Korean hookers. Also the bars was where some enlisted young men go. :?

That was my assumption (NOT that she was a hooker, but that they had met outside the army base). I wasn't in the army, but I met some nice girls there, too.

A couple of important factors have changed since then:

1. US soldiers are no longer permitted to hire hookers, or even (I think) to have coitus outside of marriage.

2. Gender-selected abortion has created a huge shortage of women relative to men in South Korea.

3. South Koreans, by and large, are a lot wealthier than they used to be.

So, I don't know what it is like there, now. Probably not as much fun for the soldiers as it used to be, and probably not as easy to meet girls.

I would have to add, too, that Korean girls were VERY nice, and very easy to fall in love with.

While most Asian and half-Asian girls are very pretty, I would assume that most who grew up in America would be more similar to other Americans than to Asians in Asia. It would be silly to expect otherwise.

I'm going back to Korea in the fall and probably will be shocked at the changes. I was last there in 1995. From what I hear also alot of foreigners live in Korea to teach English. It's true that people from Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh and other foreign countries to marry Korean but mostly farmers.

Maybe you'll find a Korean husband, too.

From what I understand, South Korea has a lot of lonely men nowadays.

Asian men don't appeal to me at all. Full or half. I like military men. I did date someone in the Navy. I'm used to the military lifestyle since I grew up on military base most of my life. I often would see the young enlisted men doing their daily morning exercise while I walked to school. I prefer white or hispanic. Well the only hispanic man I find hot right now is a celeb. I'm sure you know.

Romance is very racist from what I seeing here.

Here are some trends I observed (online and real-life), they are generalizations but I am sure there's some huge truth about them.

- Asian girls are very desired by White guys and often are seen as humble, cute and nice.
- Asian guys aren't much desired by white girls and probably by a lot of Asian girls too.
- African guys are more desired than African girls by the opposite sex.
- African girls are the least desired by whites.
- White (European) men are the most desirable in third-world non-white countries. White women too but not to the same extent.
- Middle-Eastern men are desirable by White and Asian women but hindered by the fear factor. Middle-Eastern women are seen as exotic by white men but not much as Asian women.

And some views from OkTrends:

Quote:
Black women write back the most. Whether it’s due to talkativeness, loneliness, or a sense of plain decency, black women are by far the most likely to respond to a first contact attempt. In many cases, their response rate is one and a half times the average, and, overall, black women reply about a quarter more often that other women.

White men get more responses. Whatever it is, white males just get more replies from almost every group. We were careful to preselect our data pool so that physical attractiveness (as measured by our site picture-rating utility) was roughly even across all the race/gender slices. For guys, we did likewise with height.

White women prefer white men to the exclusion of everyone else—and Asian and Hispanic women prefer them even more exclusively. These three types of women only respond well to white men. More significantly, these groups’ reply rates to non-whites is terrible. Asian women write back non-white males at 21.9%, Hispanic women at 22.9%, and white women at 23.0%. It’s here where things get interesting, for white women in particular. If you look at the match-by-race table before this one, the “should-look-like” one, you see that white women have an above-average compatibility with almost every group. Yet they only reply well to guys who look like them. There’s more data on this towards the end of the post.

Quote:
Men don’t write black women back. Or rather, they write them back far less often than they should. Black women reply the most, yet get by far the fewest replies. Essentially every race—including other blacks—singles them out for the cold shoulder.

White guys respond less overall. The average reply rate of non-white males is 48.1%, while white guys’ is only 40.5%. Basically, they write back about 20% less often. It’s ironic that white guys are worst responders, because as we saw above they in turn get the most replies. That has apparently made them very self-absorbed.

[quote]OkCupid’s users are better-educated, younger, and far more progressive than the norm, so I can imagine that many sites would actually have worse race stats.[/quote

^^ and I believe this all goes down to...again.... humans proven to be apes again: looks.

Masculine features vs Feminine features .

- Asian girls have "typical feminine" physical features: short height, the softness of skin, the eyes, ..etc/ while their men have the same features making them look "less masculine".

Africans have the opposite case of Asians.

Plus asian females tend to have baby fine soft hair. I don't have that though. Yes Asian females tend to be more petite and thinner than say females here in the US.

I have a white friend who's into Asian guys. She feels like she's the only one out there. I also have an Asian friend who's into Asian guys (and girls), although she insists that nobody in our predominantly-Asian school fits her (pretty ridiculous) standards of beauty. I'm half-white and half-Asian, and I don't feel like I have any real racial bias, although I probably do subconsciously xD.

You've made my point from a few pages ago that it isn't JUST White men who lust after Asian girls--there is some reciprocal lusting going on.

You're looking for a man just like your father, eh?

Military men tend to marry younger these days: partly because coitus is prohibited outside of marriage, and partly because of the generous extra entitlements that married soldiers get. They have a big incentive to marry young, and there may be relatively few left over in your age range.

I would have expected your grandma and aunties in Korea to be seeking candidates in anticipation of your visit. I'm sure that they would be performing thorough background checks, including details on the gentlemen's family, employment history, education, income, wealth, as well as what kind of home he owns and what kind of vehicle he drives. You probably don't need to be overly hasty in dismissing the possibilities. Plus, I think that they have mandatory military service, which means that ALL of the men have a military background.

Before you go, your mother had better make sure that you are able to prepare an irresistible batch of kimchi.

I hate kimchi. :x Smelly. Hot. Spicy. Korean foods smells so bad but tastes good. The soy bean soup and the grilled mackerel can stink up your kitchen so badly! It's quite different than say Thai food. Thai food doesn't have that awful smell to me. I don't think my aunts and uncles care about who I marry as long as he has good family background. If he comes from divorced parents, that would be a some turn off. Or if he has a child from previous marriage or relationship that would be a turn off. If I was divorced or had a child then it would be fine. I don't want a man to drive the best expensive car. As long as his car works that's fine. Some Korean families do go overboard. He doesn't need to be the son of a CEO for instance where someday he will take over his dad's business. Some woman that I know wanted to hook me up with a police officer. :? I would be worried about him. Military life can be hard too. My dad was sent to the Middle East during the Persian Gulf War. He was a Lt Colonel. My ex boyfriend got out of the US Navy before 9/11 happened. I feared that he would have to be sent to the Middle East also to be in the frontlines. But he was a lab technician. If I met a man who was a singer that would be good. But definitely not punk or heavy medal. Someone like Adam Levine would be cool. I wouldn't mind meeting a man similar to Dr Spencer Reid of Criminal Minds. He seems to be the type of man I like. Very very smart and very caring. I think the character has a tad bit of aspergers in him. But I don't know. I'm addicted to Pitbull too so I wouldn't mind meeting someone like him too. I don't know I'm all over the place.

On top of that, Asian and half-Asian girls tend to have men falling at their feet anywhere they go in much of North America. Some of us who might otherwise be interested probably see little point in joining the contest. Others of us are completely awestruck and dumbfounded, and use the internet to ask for tips on how to talk to you.
