Wow somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Who the hell are you to judge me? I wrote out an honest post and you just come in and try to tear me up for it. You're the pathetic one. It's not my fault you don't get to choose which girl you give a chance to. It's not as glamorous as you think. It's not like I have a bunch of girls showing up at my door. I'm sorry if I gave you that impression. All I meant was that if I don't like a girl, I'm not gonna be desperate and do her just for a physical thing. I've never been able to get truly emotional with a girl relationship wise (I wish with my best friend). But I do like to be able to know the girl before I do anything with her. I wanna be able to talk to her. I dunno where I was going with this. And I expect that none of you really care. This is the Internet after all, Asperger's forum or not. Oh well...

The personal insults will stop or there will be consequences!

I just registered on AspieAffection, profile #3824 (as I can't post links here yet) so please take a look.

In a nutshell, I'm a 36 year old female, convinced I have Asperger's though I have not been diagnosed by anyone yet due to a lack of expertise in my city. I know I don't view the world in the same way as an average person - my own mother has told me she suspected I had Asperger's when I was growing up. As an adult, I know I can "act" my way through most social situations where I may not be interested in the topic but I can fake it to make others happy. There are some situations that I just avoid if I know I'll feel out of place no matter what I say or do.

I don't enjoy the bar scene and I am not interested in hooking up for sex with guys on dating websites such as Plenty Of Fish or LavaLife. I've tried handfuls of those websites and have had no luck. I've tried to make myself become extroverted in the last few years in hopes of finding a mate. Volunteering, curling, bowling, cooking classes, university night classes, etc. have brought me no luck in the dating department (either too many women, no single guys or the guys aren't dateable to me), though I have made a few great female friends in the process.

I have my own house, a good job as a computer programmer, two cats and a sporty little car. I've been told I have natural comedic timing and I do enjoy making people laugh.

So, that's a little about me. Maybe one of you guys will be interested - if so, send me a message.

35 years old, virgin- that did not bother me until recently when my interest in love, relationships, romance, etc was aroused- i had not wanted to label myself asperger's but in the face of my overall situation it was the only conclusion which made sense-

i long for a partner- i trust too that there is a woman who longs for me (tho she does not know me yet- her longing is unspecified as yet, as is mine)- but we will find each other- we are already moving towards each other each moment- how will destiny bring us together? It is not clear- but the idea that one makes their own luck suggests that posting here, for example, can only help the process along- also the idea that god helps those who help themselves

i do relate strongly to god- i understand there may be some corellation between spirituality and asperger's- certainly for me my experience of life is one of dwelling within an inner monastery, for example- i do want to have sex, tho, and relate on all levels

i would like a partner who loves god more than she loves me- similarly, i wish for a partner who wishes for me to love god more than i love her- i believe this would be the stable foundation of a relationship

A lot of people in this thread seem to be older than me and living in completely different countries, but hey, let's make a new entry since I made my last one when I was 15.

I'm a 16 year old straight male Aspie. I'm a computer geek, I like the stock market and the economy, and I like business.

I have a lot of interests aside from those: I write poems, I do a lot of reading, I like cars, and of course I enjoy the normal stuff like the cinema.

I can be fun and enjoy telling jokes and such, and I've been told I'm sweet and romantic and stuff
