I love both giving and receiving compliments. I always have. When I was [much] younger, and men [strangers] would walk up to me and say something corny like "Oh my God! I'm in love," Il enjoyed it.Now that I am older, men no longer say that. They do say things like "I couldn't help but notice you as you [fill in the blank] and I have never seen anyone so obviously enjoy [fill in the blank] unless they were a child. You're amazing," I love it every bit as much.
And really, when men give those compliments, it is wrong to automatically assume that they want sex from you. Percentagewise,, and I am not trying to generalize, but in my personal experience, gay men who would never be interested in sex with me, have been the most lavish in their compliments.
