There certainly is, my dear--let's play!

This is serious. I would sure love it if my drinking buddies would attend AutHaven next year. It'll be 4 nights, the third week in March. It. $150 per person, shared rooms, all food, entertainment, classes,awesome goody bags. discusssion groups,hiking, meeting new friends, and,weather permitting, the "first annual Autistic Blindfolded golf cart rodeo" ever. Yeah, it's at a nudist resort [renting out many of the facillities] and there is a tiny chance you'll see somebody naked there [shrug] There is a hot tub, sauna, ice cream shop [free] and you don't even have to put quarters in to play pool or pinball machine. Last year we had fun with "hit and run ping-pong" and Star found a couple of volunteers for helping to build Ocate Cliffs. We will be working on self and partnership employment and how to support each other through everything, including a planned community in Pueblo [originally we were looking at Thornton, Colorado. And..you are not required to participate in any activity, only the ones you want to. So...pull up a seat and let's talk.

We're 25 minutes southwest of Denver.You got about 9 months to come up with a baby sitter.

Butterfly, in the most beautiful part of colorado. There will be room sharing, sometimes 3 to a room, but for partners we will make sure that there are only 2 in the room. Also,couples with kids can share with their folks and get a special family rate. The cost this year is $150 per person. That is for 4 days and 4 nights. All food. Goody bags. Workshops, Discussions, fun, entertainment and planning for an incredible new Autistic world. We urge everyone to either save money, and/or find a sponsor.That being said, NO ONE will be turned away for having no money. [ job creation is one thing to be discussed. people on ssi need to be part of this, but of course have no extra money] Bobby can pick people up fom the airport. and the odds of seeingOMG a naked person- is quite low. how do I get you SERIOUSLY interested?

Okay, hollowing out a pineapple to make a drink for myself while sitting at home may have been a bit excessive, but in my defense, it's delicious.

It's called a Boo Loo, and you make it with:

Small chunk of fresh pineapple
2 1/2 oz pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz lime juice
1 1/4 oz 50/50 honey syrup (equal parts honey and hot water, stirred to dissolve the honey)

Blend all these together, and pour into the pineapple full of crushed ice.

Add:

3/4 oz dark Jamaican rum
3/4 oz 151 demerara rum
1 1/2 oz demerara rum
1 1/2 oz gold Puerto Rican rum
1 1/2 oz club soda

Stir.

I highly recommend a straw with this one, and someone to help you drink it, as it's pretty potent, and the pineapple fiber gets in your mouth if you drink it straight from the thing.

Not only can you get an awesome drink from a pineapple,you can get a house plant from the top.Mine is huge,don't know if it will ever make a pineapple.
