She should buy me a present. When's she going to buy me a BlackBerry Watch?

It would be nice. But don't ask for it.

Walking away definitely wasn’t a good idea. But it didn’t deserve the reaction. If she didn’t cause it, I can see why she was annoyed. But breaking up over it seems silly.

Is she the giving sort at all? If she never has before, what makes you think she will now?

Previous behavior can predict future behavior. If she was never giving before, that's not likely to ever change.

Your actions are teaching her that you will do whatever she wants just to keep her around.

No. All she does is buy my groceries, cook for me, clean my apartment and drive me around.

Alright so she IS doing something for you. She's basically playing the role of Wife and she's probably expecting you to make it official. Maybe rightfully so, seeing as how you let her move in so quickly (remember that was your decision - you could have said no to that too).

You are in quite a pickle, my friend. You need to decide what it is that you really want.

The fact that she does these things doesn't mean that he has to marry her after a year, especially since they have all these arguments and stuff.

I get that; I'm saying that this is probably her thought process. She probably reasons that since she's doing all these things for him he should then give back by marrying her. Because, after all, he DID agree to have her move in.

Now that you mentioned she cooks for you, the whole donut-gate seems way worse.

People who live together do that too. Just because he invited her to live together is doesn't mean that he wants to rush to a marriage.

I get that too.

What I'm trying to say is that these two are obviously on two different wave lengths and not effectively communicating with each other.

She quite obviously wants one thing and he wants another.

And it sounds like she's using manipulation to attempt to get what she wants.

My point is that this is why it's kind of important to date someone for a while and know them pretty well and be in agreement with what you BOTH want before you share a space with them.
